AireCiudadano.
What is it?
A virtual space created to understand the subject of air quality and to publish the results and conclusions of the citizen monitoring carried out on different transport modes and in different spaces since 2017, under the Twitter account @danielbernalb.
Who?
Daniel Bernal, air quality and environmental activist: LinkedIn, together with everyone who builds a sensor, joins a workshop or sends us their data.
When?
This space was created in mid-2018 to document and share all the citizen work carried out for air quality. The record of activities starts in May 2017.
Where?
On this website and on our social networks, including @danielbernalb and @aireciudadano. The measurements themselves are published on the open data portal.
Why?
Because an orderly record of the activism carried out since 2017 is needed. Very often this information is lost, or there is simply nowhere to find it in a clear and simple way. Filling that gap is the purpose of this space.
How?
By publishing every activity we consider relevant, explaining what air quality is and what citizen science is, and with the best possible pedagogy on both subjects.
